Day 11 - Jan 11, 2013 Evening with Friends

 

Tonight I spent the evening with Ana Maria and Carol.

We spent the first half of the evening getting caught up on our lives,

relexing with a beverage and eating dinner.

The second half was filled with Papercrafting.

I made a card and helped AM with her layout.

 

 

Day 10 - Jan 10, 2013

 

This year I'm committed to getting through

a pile of projects that are unfinished,

so you will see lots of cards. 

I have many kits with left over pieces which

will be used to create various cards for Relatives,

Friends and Childrens Hospital.

 It truly is the best way to use up your scraps.

Day 8 - Jan 8, 2013 My New Rubber Boots

 

In Vancouver a Girl needs a pair of Rubber Boots.

I have not been very lucky with the weather since starting at my new job.

I walk much farther and the puddles are much bigger.

Day 7 - Jan 7, 2013 Today we go Live

 

Today the company I work for launched a new project.

This is a very large project and one that took just over a year

in the process. Today was a very exciting day with a few speedbumps.

Through this week the work will increase and by

Friday we will finally see the full work load.

 

And, yes I can say "I still love my job"

Well today has been all about Creating and Football.

I have been working on my Portland 2012 Album.

Today Basketball Season Part II started.

Lots of travel involved this time.

Day 4 - Jan 4, 2013 Warming by the Fire

 

Relaxing in front of the fire.

Life has been very hectic and the upcoming week is even more so,

So tonight I'm staying in and am going to relax a little.

Day 3 - Jan 3, 2013 Still Christmas

Well in my world Christmas is running into January.

Here are a few more photos of Izzy and I exchanging Christmas presents.

The most ironic thing is that both of us had purchased
 the other's gift nice and early and then
 found out that the other person had already gone out
and bought the same gift for themselves. OMG!!!

Today was a great day. I got to hang out with my dear friend Izzy

 and we exchanged our Christmas gifts. Since I was sick just before Christmas

 we had to postpone our Christmas visit until today.  

It was kinda nice to still have something to open.

And yes it was very special she truly spoiled me with lots

 of special items in my Christmas Trunk.  (bet you would love to see it, LOL)

 Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

They even left up the Christmas tree and decorations beside

our usual table at the Kingston or should I say Kensington.

Happy New Year - I love a new year, there are just so many possibilites.

My Word for 2013 is "Family"

My Saying for 2013 is "Happy, Happy, Happy"

My Intentions for 2013 are...

1) I intend to participate in Project 365. I will be taking a photo a day and posting it here on my blog. As the months go by I will print the photos and smash them in a journal.

2) I intend to focus on my Health. Specifically more Exercise, more Healthy Food Choices, and more Sleep.

3) I intend to Read more.
