Wow what a whirlwind that was. I'm very late with my Christmas wishes but "Better late than never" sounds good to me. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and Boxing Day. I was out shopping on Boxing Day and what a challenge it was to stay sane.
Best Wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
I love the beginning of a new year. There are just so many possibilities.......... Last year I choose Project 365 which turned into Project 218. I'm very proud to say I got 218 creative projects done. I love to set goals and even if I don't complete them I sure get farther than if I never set the goal to begin with.
This upcoming year of 2011 is going to be the year of "UFO's" = Un-Finished Objects. I'm going to focus on completeing all my unfinished projects. This will include all items from Classes, make n takes, kits, personal projects, etc. I will post the finished projects as they come off the assembly line. Let's see how many actually exist behind those cupboard doors.
Hugs, Diane

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
What happened to November? I had lots of fun and a jam packed schedule. I hosted my last Timberline Ranch Retreat, which was a blast as usual. Loved spending some quality time with my dear friends. Then it was off to Crop & Cruise for Canadians with my friend Izzy. We had another great journey together and there were several times where we had to throw our hands up and holler "A" for adventure. Since this was a cruise for Canadian Scrappers I guess I should say "Eh" for Adventure. I so totally stole that from Jackie Ludlage on her editorial page of the 2010 Winter Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. Loved that layout! I love a good play on words.
My sights are now squarely focused on the 31 days in December and I can say I'm truly enjoying the holidays this year. My house is all decorated and I have been spending some quality time in the kitchen baking a mountain of cookies. I was treated to the Vancouver Chamber Choir last Friday night and it was just beautiful. Not what I was expecting but so much to see, watch and take in. The best part was the last bit where we (the audience) got to sing along with some favourite Christmas Carols. Oh how I love to sing, especially when I feel I am safely being drowned out. LOL
Stay tuned for some more updates and photos from the trip as well as some Christmas inspired photos.
Hugs to all , and to all a good night...
